We
are...
a non-profit organization that came into existence after five years of working together with NGO’s on the project “The Promotion
of Social Ethics”. Our doctrinal basis has its roots in Christian social teaching.
|
Our
aim...
is
to advance the role of social ethics for the public
good, as well as to encourage various groups of people
to consciously deal with the issues of everyday life.
|
We
maintain that it is necessary for individuals and
groups to:
- be engaged in the struggle for social justice;
- foster the growth of non-profit organizations;
- discuss public issues from the point of view of social ethics; and
- publish
the findings of these endeavors.
|
What
we do...
Public
policy - After beginning in the field of
non-governmental and church related organizations,
we later moved into the area of ethics in youth,
education and labor policy. Reports of our research
and studies are published
in the press, information bulletins, and at seminars
and conferences.
|
Informal
youth and adult education - In
order to encourage social groups, foster expectations,
and equip people with the ability to stand against
opposition, we organize seminars with the aim of
inspiring and motivating individuals to address
issues of public justice as we seek to train them
to:
- judge critically what is going on in their surroundings;
- play active roles in groups and society; and
- participate
and partner with other groups with a similar calling.
|
Organizational
development - To
assist in the development of an organization’s
unique functions, as well as its day-to-day activities
we organize seminars for a variety of types of
workers to:
- understand more clearly their organization’s functional structure;
- encourage higher levels of cooperation;
- recognize
one's responsibility to the future of the organization;
and
- develop a culture of work.
